GOOD Based on 221 reviews Posted on Adam HadleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Installation was very fast and professional, only one installer arrived at 7am and they were done by 3, great work. However, it has been weeks since installation was finished and there is still fencing around some debris, blocking an external path and access to bins.Posted on david gvTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently replaced 4 windows on our 8th-floor apartment: 2 sliding and 2 sash (job no. 9172). Overall, a good experience. Pros: • Professional and fast installation with a clean finish. • Sliding windows (double-glass) have excellent noise insulation. • Good post-installation follow-up and support. Cons: • Communication after signing the contract was slightly difficult. When asking questions to the person that did the check measure, he was rude and not keen on smooth communication. • The contract you sign says that they can confidently install the windows without breaking any tiles. After the contract is signed, they request you to remove the tiles prior to the installation of the windows. Now we need to retile our bathrooms. • Sash windows have no counterweights, so they’re either too stiff to open or slide up on their own. We specifically asked about how easy to operate they would be prior to signing the contract and we were assured they would be smooth to operate. Overall: Happy with the result and would recommend, but make sure to get all details in writing first and I would not install sash windows if I could choose.Posted on Ravi SharmaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very nice work very friendly worker on unit 7Posted on Jan KadlecTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DON’T WALK, RUN away from this company! They are just replacing the windows on our building (small dwelling) and it’s a complete DISASTER! One of the most incompetent and disorganised companies I’ve ever seen. All tenants are furious. The list on complaints is huge, just to mention few: - Broken glass and debris left in places where people, including small children walk (entrance, common areas, staircase, etc.). - Zero notice period when they will commence work on a particular unit. When asked, the workers don’t know. They just randomly knock on doors at 7:00- 7:30am and demand access. So the tenants are expected to take time of work at no notice and swiftly move/ cover their furniture and belongings not to hinder the work. - For example, they confirmed the work Thursday afternoon (night before), knowing the weather forecast was showing chances of rain. Yet, no mention of weather dependency. Brief, light rain in the morning, claiming the short, light rain prevented them from replacing the windows facing the balcony which are well protected (stayed dry)?! It took us few hours to remove and cover the furniture to protect from debris and dust. Now we have to live in such conditions until Monday. Put simply, they used the light rain as an excuse to take Friday off and left us hanging. No apology, no help, no sympathy. There were other cases like this. - In general, apartments left dirty since they don’t use drop sheets or vacuum clean after the work, etc. Some damage to the interior walls and furniture. - Workers smoke outside and leave cigarette butts all around the building. - Blocked off access to the mailboxes for post deliveries. - Any feedback or request for information, the workers shrug their shoulders, and the manager ignores. - And the windows themselves? Definitely better than the old, already rotten ones. But not top quality. Mediocre at best. The aluminium frames are cut and left with some sharp edges, so we’ll have to file them or protect somehow so that children don’t get cut. There are some silicone smudges and dirty fingerprints on the frames, windows or walls. Sure, we’ll clean them ourselves. We knew it wouldn’t be easy, especially just before Christmas. All tenants were positive, cooperative, helpful and understanding. But enough is enough. Save yourself the troubles and choose another company.Posted on Alex FiebigTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The windows were replaced… that’s the only good thing I have to say. It was done very poorly. Marks all over the walls, screws still hanging out of the window sills and pencil marks and stains all over them. The apartment was left in a huge mess and their muddy boots were worn all through the carpet. They also, didn’t tell us when they were coming until the day before and they said “you better have everything moved for us to come at 7am tomorrow “.Posted on Ella FothTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Windows were quickly replaced without much hassle. However our apartment was with dust absolutely everywhere, and windows looked unfinished. Additionally communication on when the windows were being replaced wasn’t great. (Unit 7).Posted on Russell PottsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Worked really quickly and efficiently. We're great to deal with and cleaned up after their work.Posted on James BaxterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very happy with the replacement windows installed. There was a delay outside of their control but the new windows have improved our insulation for better temperature control and we can barely hear any outside noise when windows are closed.Posted on Johanna Kay TranTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve had our windows installed by Windowline over three stages since 2023, and the whole process has been really good. The coordination and communication have always been great with Julie from there office and they even gave us the option to add fly screens along the way. In the last stage, Scott did the installation and did an excellent job — everything was finished neatly and works perfectly. We also had our balcony door replaced by Windowline about two years ago, and it’s made such a difference in keeping the cold out of the apartment. Big thanks as well to CF Strata for engaging Windowline to do the window replacements — highly recommend! Big thank you from Unit 9

We used Windowline to replace windows in a 1960’s strata block of 15 units - the project completed in September 2024 and we are very happy with the result. I was particularly impressed and grateful for Harley’s great communication in the initial phases (at the time of inspecting for the quote and in the lead up and throughout the course of our EGM). He came along to our EGM and dealt with questions from the owners very clearly and responded quickly to further questions. The installation process was pretty seamless with only a couple of minor hiccups. The workmanship is great with my only complaint being that the outside of the windows could have been left cleaner (some were quite smudged)
I would highly recommend Windowline for strata window projects

The installation of new double glazed windows and balcony doors on the entire block of units including our unit 8 was professionally done and the communication throughout the process was very good. This was a pretty complex job and we can’t recommend Windowline highly enough!

Professional bunch of guys, worked hard to get all windows installed over a two week period. The apartment was clean after they left, really happy with the workmanship and quality of the windows.

The Windowline installers were polite, friendly and hassle free. Left our apartment clean afterwards and the new windows look great 👍. Areas for improvement: A couple of the windows need the springs adjusted, as they fall open if not locked. Windowline advised how to adjust it, but the screws in question are not easily accessible, so we still have this issue. The other thing that could be improved is that, due to government regulations, the bottom window has to be blocked from opening too wide, which means you have to open the top window if you want your windows fully open for ventilation. But the top windows are not designed this way. If you want to open the top window, you have to grab it at the very top, which usually requires a stool or step ladder! Same for closing! This issue is due to government regulations to prevent children falling out the bottom window, so it’s not Windowline’s fault. However, it does affect the practical function of the windows and therefore could benefit from a design rethink. Overall, very happy with the fresh new look of the new windows!

David was a great salesman who led our owners through the options available and helped guide owners to a good solution.
A couple of early hiccups during installation were resolved and with 1 of 96 windows needing additional attention we are close to a good result.

Windowline replaced the windows in my apartment, they were very fast and efficient but more importantly (as someone living alone) they moved furniture away from the windows and then cleaned and returned the furniture to its original position while I was away at work. I was able to come home to my apartment after a long day with very little inconvenience which I greatly appreciated. This made the process easy and they were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend the guys from windowline!

Absolute pleasure to deal with this company. From the service from David and Craig, No problems from start to finish. Special mention to the installers Zac and his team, Lisa and Daniel. After 20 years in the property game and using 100s of contractors. These guys were 100% percent professional, flexible and a joy to work with. The finished product was better than expectations.

Avoid.
Came home expecting a complete job. Instead, our bedroom windows had been half installed leaving a gaping floor to ceiling hole in the middle of winter.
Tools were left everywhere, including a stanley knife on my bed. Window frames had also been left in our lounge room for several days.
Came home a seperate day to find that our front and side doors had both been left open whilst the team had gone off to lunch. So anyone could have accessed our apartment.
After weeks, there had been no clean-up to the common areas, with shards of glass and wood splinters being left across all walkways and garden beds.

If you aren’t in a hurry, hire Windowline.
I was just a renter when Windowline completed the strata building works, but suffered the consequences of it all. Overnight we were left with gaping, floor to ceiling holes in our walls when they ‘ran out of time’ to finish the window installation. Who doesn’t love an icy cold breeze flowing through their entire apartment in the middle of winter. We also appreciated that on multiple occasions our apartment was left with doors wide open with no tradesmen in it while they went to lunch. Its fun waiting an hour for them to return so you can continue on with your day to day business and avoid leaving the apartment open and unattended again. What an excellent feeling to come home to an unlocked apartment with no one in it and not have to find your keys to open the door. I’m glad no one decided to pop buy and steal our possessions. They made themselves at home and decided to use our apartment to store the window frames in for a fortnight. Great feature of our living and dining area, and was fun to navigate around. The best part was how much time we had to take off work to be there for them as they were always late and seemed to take multiple days to install each window. I take that back, the best part was how they ruined the timber flooring and left dirty hand prints on ever inch of surface.
